Alinta Energy's history

Alinta Energy started making energy affordable in 1990s, when they started supplying gas to households in Western Australia and the 'Alinta' brand was born as AlintaGas. In 1998, the Western Australian Government privatised AlintaGas.

How HelpPay uses BPAY

The HelpPay app only requires 4 pieces of information to upload a bill; the BPAY biller code, the customer reference number, the due date, and the amount due. Once a bill has been uploaded, our users can freely share their bills with anyone. Each bill upload generates a public payment page that is easily shared with a unique link and allows anyone, with or without the HelpPay app, to contribute to the customer's bill. 

By using BPAY's APIs, we can validate that the bill is from a legitimate provider and ensure that the contributions made towards a bill, will go directly to the company that issued that bill.
