Youi's history

Youi has been operating in Australia after being authorised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and receiving its Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) from ASIC on 01 March 2008. However, the company can trace its origins back to 1998 through its sister company, OUTsurance.

How HelpPay uses BPAY

The HelpPay app only requires 4 pieces of information to upload a bill; the BPAY biller code, the customer reference number, the due date, and the amount due. Once a bill has been uploaded, our users can freely share their bills with anyone. Each bill upload generates a public payment page that is easily shared with a unique link and allows anyone, with or without the HelpPay app, to contribute to the customer's bill. 

By using BPAY's APIs, we can validate that the bill is from a legitimate provider and ensure that the contributions made towards a bill, will go directly to the company that issued that bill.
